The mystical tales of the Southern Sea, particularly in the region of Indonesia, are renowned for various stories inhabited by supernatural beings and legends related to local culture. One of the most famous tales is about Nyi Roro Kidul, the Queen of the Southern Coast.

According to legend, Nyi Roro Kidul is a goddess who rules the Southern Sea and is often depicted wearing a green dress. It is said that she has the power to draw human souls into the sea and is known as the protector and ruler of the ocean. Many myths are associated with Nyi Roro Kidul, such as the prohibition against wearing green clothing while on the southern beach, as it is believed to attract the queen's attention.

There are also stories about mysterious apparitions or strange sounds from the sea at night, which are believed to be omens or warnings. Some fishermen and local residents often report experiences of seeing large waves or boats rocking without any clear reason.
These mystical stories are often rooted in the beliefs of the local community and create a unique atmosphere that adds deeper meaning to the existence of the sea as a symbol of natural power.

The story of people who ask for wealth or other things from Nyi Roro Kidul, the Queen of the Southern Sea, is indeed part of the myths and beliefs of communities in several regions of Indonesia, particularly on the island of Java. Many believe that by performing certain rituals, such as offering offerings or making sacrifices, one can gain fortune, sustenance, or wealth from the Queen of the Southern Sea.

There are many stories and testimonies from individuals who claim to have performed these rituals and felt they received good fortune afterward. However, these stories are usually subjective and cannot be objectively verified. Such beliefs are often related to culture, tradition, and individual spiritual experiences.

It is important to remember that these stories are more a part of local culture and spiritual tradition, and their acceptance or rejection can vary among individuals and communities. This reflects the complex relationship between humans, nature, and the beliefs present in Indonesian culture.
